Montreal Trip highlights

This weekend I traveled to Montreal for the Canada vs. St. Vincent soccer game.

The rain did not stop the fans and Canada scored 4 -1.

Being European, Montreal is definitely close to my heart as it reminds me of growing up in Europe. I love walking the steets, people watching and discovering new places to eat and shop.

On Saturday I began my day by checking out some of the stores on St. Catherine Street. Then I made my way to Laurier Street for some boutique shopping and indulging in amazing bowl of cafe latte with a fruit crape for lunch at Toi, Moi & Cafe. Some of the stores I check out were: Charlie Sattva for some great yoga-a-porter, billie, agatha for great jewlery, mimi & coco and ca va de soi. I didn't make it to the antique or modern furniture stores as my feet were allready full of blisters from walking, and I really neeeded a cold beverage. I met up with friends at Newton on Crescent Street.

Following that I quickly put some of my new fashion picks on and I was on my way out to the Montreal Gay Village. It was my lucky night, I was escorted by 9 very handsome men to a great BYOV (bring your own wine) restaurant for dinner. We then headed to the skybar roof top patio to enjoy pitchers of sangria and watch the fireworks. And what is a night without dancing, 1 spot 5 different types of music and a fabulous drag show!

On Sunday, I ate breakfast and headed to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts for the display of four-decade retrospective of the Yves Saint Laurent haute couture house spotlights the signature style of a designer who has redefine fashion and femininity. If you are traveling to Montreal it is a must, as the display will be moving to SF after Sept 28, Check out mbam.qc.ca

Sex in the City - the movie

I finally watched the movie on the internet and it was okay. I am not a big fan of the show I wanted to see the fashion, but there was nothing that caught my eye!

Miranda's hairstyle was my favorite as I loved seeing how many diffrent styles they came up with. Most of Samantha's humor from the movie was in the trailers. I hope you enjoy the movie.
