I think the pushup part is very cool..the inhale/exhale is the key..

Love to Eat ~ Banana Bread Energy Bars


The recipe is out of the Thrive Diet book.


Makes approximately 12 1-3/4 ounce bars.

You can use a food processor to mix or do it by hand to your desired texture.
Flatten with rolling pin to desired thickness.
Wrap each bar and store in freezer, they will not freeze solid and will always stay chewy. Add wet ingredients or dry depending on how you like your bar.

1 small banana

3/4 cup fresh or soaked dried dates

1/2 cup Popped Amaranth ~ click here to see how?
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup ground sesame seeds
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Sea salt to taste
